SS 321 is an austenitic grade of stainless steel. 321 Stainless Steel Plate is designed with a chemical composition
of 17% to 19% chromium and 9% to 12% of nickel. These plates are stabilized by the addition of titanium. Stainless Steel 321 Plate possessesenhanced resistance against
corrosion and oxidation in different stress-induced systems. Designed to withstand temperatures up to 900 degrees C the SS 321
Plate has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance after
heating or long exposure to carbide precipitation.
Most of the Stainless Steel 321 Sheet can be produced via hot or
cold rolling procedures to produce components that meet the
requirements of different types of applications. The high-strength 321 Stainless Steel Sheet shows good phase
stability with enhanced resistance to scaling across aqueous
systems. Similar to austenitic grades, SS 321 Sheet shows excellent forming
and welding capacity. These modules show exceptional strength in low cryogenic
temperatures as well. The 321 SS Sheet cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Its quality can be enhanced following the cold working process.
